Warren
Microtia of the right ear, has had hand surgery
Male, 9 years old
Classification: Special Focus
STATUS: WAITING

Warren is a handsome 9-year-old boy. Warren’s file is rich with information and fondness for this child. Reading his file really touched my heart with so much depth as the orphanage tried to describe the heart of this boy in a few paragraphs. He was abandoned as an infant and apparently attached strongly to his nannies. When it was time for Warren to begin kindergarten, there were many tears. The nanny felt “maybe he felt he would be abandoned again”. Because of his fear to leave to go to school, the nanny would attend school with him for half of the day until he felt comfortable. Now, he is in the 3rd grade and is a diligent student. He is disciplined in his studies and always wants to complete his homework before he has play time. He has always been strong in mathematics. weaker in language. One time at a dinner party with a group of people the adults were trying to calculate the bill and how much each adult should pay he called out the number and surprised everyone with his accuracy. He is a people pleaser and wants affirmation that others are happy with him. He is a helper with chores and wants to do his part and holds other accountable to do theirs. He is a sensitive child. This is a direct quote from his file. “when seeing moving scenes in the TV, he will be the first to cry; when hearing people saying moving words, he will also cry; when people donate things for the children, he will cry; he is a grateful child; he knows that the society cares about them; he knows that the nannies love them; he knows that all the things he owns now are because of love; he is happy.” Praying that this sweet boy will come to know the unconditional love of a forever family. For more information please contact andrea@smallworldadoption.com
